About the event
The University Union of Northern Arizona, American Federation of Teachers (UUNA-AFT) is concerned about the health of the Northern Arizona University and Flagstaff community during the coming year. Given the ongoing Covid-19 Pandemic, and the growing number of cases in the state of Arizona, UUNA-AFT believes that NAU Administration must reassess plans for in-person classes and a full campus return. Join us in demanding that the NAU administration prioritize the health of the Flagstaff community. Please wear masks, hats if desired, and observe physical distancing guidelines during the event.
We are calling for the following actions:
- Full transparency in Administrative decisions and open dialogue with Flagstaff residents, students, staff, faculty and graduate workers
- Instructor Choice of Course Modality
- Free, ongoing and frequent testing for all students, staff, faculty and graduate workers
- No More Layoffs
Suggested Signs (But feel free to make up your own!)
